The Rondo WALK-ABOUT Trafficable ceiling system is a versatile, simple to assemble and cost-effective steel grid system.
Using standard Rondo steel stud profiles with purpose made joiners and clips you can suspend the WALK-ABOUT Ceiling System from the structure above to provide a safe framework for installing a trafficable platform in the ceiling cavity.
This allows easy access of mechanical and electrical services while simultaneously providing a support for the ceiling beneath.
The WALK-ABOUT Ceiling System seamlessly integrates with the Rondo KEY-LOCK® Concealed Suspended Ceiling System and Rondo DUO® Exposed Grid Ceiling System and can also be specified for use in seismic designs.
However, please note that seismic activity varies significantly in the markets where the WALK-ABOUT Ceiling System may be installed so it is recommended to contact an expert at Rondo for detailed technical design advice.
Also, once the WALK-ABOUT Ceiling System is constructed, a walking platform can be installed.
